At River Valley Baptist Church, we don’t believe that the youth is the church of tomorrow, we believe they are the church of today.
ANCHORED
Every Sunday evening from 5:30-7:00 we have Youth Fellowship we have called ANCHORED in Christ. This is for kids of all ages through Young Adults. We spend time memorizing and studying Gods Word, while also enjoying recreation and food!
Sunday School
Sunday School is the foundation for all believers. We have Sunday School classes for all ages, including adults. We have experienced teachers in each of our classes.
Youth Sundays
Every month that has 5 Sundays is a special month at RVBC. These 5th Sundays are times in which our youth bring forth the entire service. Our youth sing, they perform short drama’s, they bring the gospel message, and they lead the congregation in song and announcements! We celebrate each 5th Sunday with food for all following the service! This is always a favorite service to all that attend.
Vacation Bible School
Each year we provide a very well attended Vacation Bible School with classes for all ages, including adults.
Extra Youth Activities
Our youth keep us busy. In 2025 we had a New Year’s Eve Lock-in, a camping trip to Watoga State Park, we handed out flyers and bracelets during parades, we paid for our youth to attend Greenbrier Baptist Youth Camp, and we provided Vacation Bible School just to mention a few of the youth activities.
Greenbrier Baptist Youth Camp
Through generous donations and part of our church budget, each summer we pay 100% of the fee for our students to attend church camp on the banks of the Greenbrier River. For more information on the church camp, click GBYC
