River Valley Baptist Church 2024 Wrap Up

RVBC had a great holiday season with all of our events that went off without a hitch. Well, except for the Christmas parade… there were A LOT of hitches needed for that, but plenty of trucks showed up to haul the youth, loads of lights, and the wonderful artwork created for our new-and-improved Living Nativity (Mobile Edition). #NoRoomintheInn!

The RVBC Youth were especially active from taking a trip to the drive-thru Christmas lights at the State Fair grounds, leading one of the largest Youth Sundays yet, hosting their 2nd Annual Lock-in, and even many were able to travel to Jumping Branch Tabernacle to watch their Christmas play that was apparently hilarious, and well done. It’s great to be able to support the area churches/and youth groups that are working and growing just like we are.

Also, we’ve been so blessed with beautiful musical worship all year long, and the Praise Team capped it off with their “Musical Journey to Bethlehem”. This should be re-watchable on Facebook, and we highly recommend clicking the link above.

There’s just been so many awesome things going on that are only possible because of God’s guidance in our lives (i.e. Jacob bringing out the tears playing piano with a broken hand, Dakota teaching himself to play guitar in a matter of months, and Uncle Pastor getting from one place to another in a Chevy Truck).

We want to give a special thanks to all who contributed this year, especially during the busy, holiday season! It seems like every event we plan has extra new faces, and is more fun than the last. It’s been a great year at RVBC, and we hope everyone has enjoyed it.

Please continue praying, and thinking of ways to help further our ministry because God’s hands are all over everything we’re doing. If we are able to fully rely on Him, then His Will will be carried out through our communities, families, teams, workplaces, friendships, and everywhere we exist.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6
